The general scope of the project is as follows:
  • Concrete foundations (including excavation and backfill) and concrete floor slabs for:
    • Two (2) HVdc Valve Hall Buildings measuring 32m wide x 17m long each
    • HVdc Control Building measuring 29m wide x 70.8m long
    • AC Substation Building  measuring  15.5.m wide x 43.0m long
  • Supply and erect building structural steel, roofing, cladding for:
    • Two (2) HVdc Valve Hall Buildings measuring 32m wide x 17m long each
    • HVdc Control Building measuring 29m wide x 70.8m long
  • Concrete foundations for seven (7) exterior transformer equipment foundations complete with spill containment facilities and fire walls
  • Concrete foundations for various exterior ancillary mechanial/electrical  equipment foundations
  • Concrete foundations for AC Substation equipment and tower foundations
  • Installation of underground conduits encased in concrete ductbanks
  • Installation of an oil/water separator system
  • Installation of a septic system
  • General yard grading, topping and fencing requirements
To construct and erect the buildings, we have engaged the Bird St. John’s team to lead and manage this scope of work.
